PM5.1美國原廠KLIPSCH給我的回信!!

上禮拜五我寫信給KLIPSCH詢問鋼琴音失真的問題...
剛剛我已得到他們的回覆了...是個令人振奮的消息(應該是吧?)
以下是我信裡的內容(英文爛別笑我=..=)

Hello...

I live in Taiwan. And I bought your Promedia5.1 last month from "Jazz Speaker" in Taiwan.

Several days later, I found a serious problem. It's "Piano Distortion".

My Promedia5.1 is 02-XX set.

And my question is that "does this problem has been solved in the updated PM5.1(03-XX set)?"

In Taiwan, our local dealer "Jazz Speaker" said that all the PM5.1 have this problem.

I am confused. Is this true?

"Jazz Speaker" says they can give me a "New" PM5.1.

But It will still have "Piano Distortion". So I am very angry!!

Please tell me the truth. Thanks!!

This problem has been fixed with the latest version of 5.1s.

JS該不會想把有問題的PM5.1特價出清﹝9999元﹞，再引進OK的來賣。然後有發現問題的勉強幫你換一換，沒發現的就裝傻囉？！

是不是就是已經修正過的那一批呢
klipsch說的 last verson的出廠日期是什麼時候 ?_?

原來美國方面klipsch 5.1已修正 :eek:
JS是代理商怎麼可能不知道,那就太遜了
虧他是代理商,要不就裝傻
怕消息一出,庫存賣不掉,連帶的已售出的,可能怕知情的消費者要求回收,或換貨
這是可能是原因吧!畢盡之前看到順發賣$19999,現在JS特價出清$9999
等於賣一台賺一台,已到口袋的$$$$,怎能輕易的掏出
所以就繼續裝傻了 :eek:

這個應該是不可能的....
因為update發佈的日期是3月底...
所以看一下你的序號... 02-X, X=一個英文字母,其順序為月份..
Ex. 02-B => 2002年2月出廠..

我手邊這個從J-S拿回來的機器是03-C的,一樣失真....
氣死我了,我覺得J-S這次的處理一定要公諸於世...
因為現在市面上的所有PM5.1都是沒有update過的版本
要不然我早就換到了...

有沒有人可以告訴古力奇........
"台灣的代理商沒有能力解決.是否能讓user直接跟古力奇換貨...或者提供修正PM5.1的方法讓台灣的代理商js可以解決...或者提供修正過的PM5.1給代理商歐鎧.讓台灣的user可以直接跟代理商歐鎧(因為不知歐鎧有沒有這種代工技術)換貨"
不然不論歐鎧貨/JS貨都還是不知如何解決???

這是在futuremark forum 提到的

he Klipsch also have an annoying characteristic of sympathetically resonating at certain frequencies between 400 and 700 Hz. I was very surprised to see this problem go unfixed since the days of the V2.400 Promedias. After exhaustive testing I concluded that the shape of the speakers is an issue, and that Klipsch owners will have to deal with the problem until the next release of the series.

在 400~ 700Hz 就有共鳴, 而這個問題跟喇叭的行狀有關 (?)

還有它們的Amp也不夠強

The conclusion I came to after all this testing, as well as trying to use the Klipsch as monitors for my Roland FP5 digital piano (a $1500+ stage instrument) is that the Klipsch amp is severely underpowered. And although it may be able to drive 400W through the speakers, its actual amplification capabilities are not quite up to professional standards. The distortion is the result of peak capping by the amp, which does not have enough power.

I spoke with a Klipsch tech support rep for a while about this problem, and he let me know that this problem is inherent in the BASH architecture of the amp, and won't go away until the next ProMedias (it better, since otherwise people will stop buying them).
