Logitech Z560 VS Creative FPS 2000

I currently have Creative FPS 2000. I'm thinking of upgrading the speakers to Z560....I know it is a good speaker, but It DOESN'T HAVE DIGITAL OUTPUT like DSR-100 !!
When using both speakers with Audigy, in analog mode, does Z560 sound way better than FPS2000? Even under FPS2000's SPDIF out mode?

DSR-100 也沒有數位輸出啊..... 有的是叫做數位輸入.....

用 Digital DIN 來傳輸並不是良好聲音的保證，因為最後還是要靠喇叭內部的 DAC 來還原成類比訊號，如果還原的不好，也不會好聽的。

喇叭本身的聲音走向還是佔比較大的比重，建議多比較喇叭本身的音色，而把類比傳輸或數位傳輸的考量優先次序往後挪動。

Will there be a significant difference in distortion in sound?

There is little to no distortion on the z560's even at the highest volume levels (ear killing levels), so I wouldn't be worried if I were you.

Do you have Z560? How does it sound to you? What is the size and dimension of the subwoofer?

不然你可以到compusa or Fry's去聽聽看. Sub大約是11"x11"x13",可以說是蠻大與蠻重的. z560拿來看電影和打電動表現都是非常出色的.音量就算開很大也不會有上不去現像. 拿來聽音樂,我都會把bass調到最小. 我覺得它的sub和sats搭配的很好, 聽起來很順. 以這個站上的"電腦玩家 110 期－電腦喇叭評鑑•觀念解說" 來說
"日本歌手宇多田的『First Love』，也是考驗著喇叭是否能將宇多田的獨特喉音表現出來。進入副歌時，伴奏的低音大鼓聲，強烈考驗著喇叭的低頻表現是否有『彈性』。不好的低音喇叭，會在此發出有如敲牆壁般的死板聲音。中間的過場音樂，有一聲清澈的吉他擦弦聲，高音不好的喇叭，這一聲會聽不清楚。"
這個部份, 從高音,中音 到低音的部份我覺得表現都蠻出色的.
以 臥虎藏龍電影原聲帶 裡的 "Night Fight"那一首而言, 表現的很有立體感, 以及層次感. 似乎都可以抓到每個樂器的位置. 應該說是充分的把音場表現出來. 而其他首裡的弦樂器,也都有很好的表現. 每一種樂器的特色也都能表現出來. 不過要我和其他組的喇叭比較可能不行,因為我這裡也只有一組 Altec Lansing的 ACS33來比較. 聽起來當然是差太多了. 以上是一些些小小的心得, 當然喇叭要自己去聽才比較準. 在外國的review常常會拿z560和Promedia 4.1 去比. 他們的結論通常都是:音樂上,Promedia 4.1 略勝一籌, 但sub的表現上,z560就好上一截. 當然, Promedia4.1 快比 z560貴上一倍,所以這也是一個考慮的因素.

Does Frys do the same thing? I can't really test a speaker by listening to a radio station...haha

我是沒有到compusa去聽.我這裡的Fry's好像是放他們自己的CD, 每次按play都放一段不同類型的音樂.
