確定是錄製DTS-ES Discrete 6.1後中聲道的音軌的時候,
就以Matrix方式混入LS LR了嗎??

題外話,小弟剛好有一個POWERDVD音訊顯示的問題...
小弟用PowerDVD 5.0的顯示撥放資訊功能,今天撥放三區"夜魔俠"的D.D.及DTS音軌時所顯示的音訊資訊分別為:
DOLBY DIGITAL SURROUND 5.1
和
DTS SURROUND 5.1
而小弟撥放三區"獵殺紅色十月DTS版"時所顯示的音訊資訊分別為:
DOLBY DIGITAL 5.1
和
DTS 5.1
請問有沒有大大知道"夜魔俠"多出"SURROUND"字樣是什意思???和"獵殺紅色十月"有何不同???
一開始小弟認為這是否代表"夜魔俠"音訊支援DTS-ES和D.D.EX,可是之後又拿了幾片含DTS-ES及D.D.EX 旗標信號的片子來放,卻又沒出現SURROUND字樣,真是有點給他搞混了...

DTS-ES Matrix is actually a 5.1-channel format with the back surround audio channel matrixed into those of the right and left surround. "This cross-channel encoding is referred to as matrix encoding, since the surround back channel is encoded and later decoded (or derived) from those of the surround left and surround right channels." The back surround channel is matrixed in similar fashion as the front center channel is matrixed into the front right and left channels in the Dolby Surround Pro-Logic format. As such, the back surround channel is not discrete and therefore is not a true "6.1" format. DTS-ES Matrix is compatible with THX Surround EX equipment.
DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 is a true 6.1-channel format, as the back surround audio channel is discretely encoded into the DTS bitstream. "The surround back channel has it own data stream and is truly independent from those of the surround left and surround right channels." This format offers better spatialization over the surround channels for complete 360-degree sound localization and surround pans (i.e., movement of sound in the surround channels from one side to another).
The Extended Surround formats are completely backwards-compatible with their 5.1-channel counterparts. That is, THX Surround EX is backwards compatible with Dolby Digital 5.1, and DTS-ES Matrix and DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 are backwards compatible with DTS 5.1. Additionally, DTS-ES Discrete 6.1 is backwards compatible with DTS-ES Matrix. In order to hear the matrix Extended Surround formats, you will need a THX Surround EX, DTS-ES Matrix, or a generic "6.1-channel" decoder in your receiver or preamplifier and use the digital audio output of your DVD player.
