這裡又有一個z560的review了
http://www.templintech.com/misc/logitechz560.html
裡面有拿z560和 Altec Lansing的4100 做A-B test.
裡面還有提到說z560把防罩蓋拿下來聲音更好.
我自己試了一下,果然聲音更清楚了一些. 不多,但細節方面更清楚.
但因為怕自己粗心把喇叭弄壞了,還是把防塵罩留在上面...

After changing the speaker wires to 18 gauge.........there's more details in the sound and the voice is clearer!!
Damn, I don't think I've even finished running my speakers yet.....
O yeah, by the way, how long do you guys run the Z-560s?
</FONT><!-- BBCode Quote End -->
I run them whenever I feel like listening to music
Sometimes for many hours a day or all night. I've seen this idiot complain that his z560's were faulty after he blew up the amp running them at 95% volume for 10 minutes straight. :eek:

I think I know which person you are talking about, I saw the post on other Z-560 forum. I don't know if he knows that this speaker needs to be "run-in" just like regular Hi-Fi speakers. We are not talking about the cheap multilmedia speakers anymore, and this speaker or any other high-end multimedia speakers should be treated differently than the multimedia speakers of the old days. This proofs that before we listen to anyone's complaint, let's look at the facts first. Like you said, how can someone turn the volume up to 95% ???
I usually turn it to 1/4 and it is loud enough.

And he even blew out a second set doing the same thing. Some people never learn :roll:
The most I've ever turned it up is about 60% of the max volume for a DVD.(the volume marker on the control pod is about 50%)
And it rattled my room.
I really can't imagine it at 95% at 10 minutes straight.
