單以薪水跟網路費用來比較的話
看起來還是加州的日子最好過??
矽谷這邊一般大學畢業生起薪大約每月$4,000..
然後一個月網路費$40..384kbps-1.5mbps/128kbps的ADSL..
物價跟房價大約是台灣的1.5倍吧..不過稅就重了很多..

He rent a two-bedroom apartment for only US$500 per month. Their salary are pretty the same. You do the math and tell me where is cheaper???

沒有強烈呀,我只是以一般打鬧的方式說而以呀,所以以後看到以"哇例"的通常是這樣子的,這是跟很熟識的人打鬧的開場白,所才會照成誤會的。
不過我有點問題想問你,就是你用什麼OS,看你打字不像是大陸人,因為我看過一些人打出來的不是參雜簡體字,就是會漏字,沒惡意
不過我連大陸都很慢,慢到只 3-4K,上次幫別人砍中國外交部的網站(他要收集各國國旗用),結果抓了4小時只抓了 11MB ,不知是我的問題還是??? 別人會嗎?

What's your point? It's like compare orange to apple, so what if Albany, New York has cheap rent? Why don't you compare Albany to New York City? and not all part of Bay Area has insane rent price, I have been living here for 10 years and I didn't observe those kind of rent in a typical sub urban environment.
Bay Area is perhaps the most beautiful place in the northern atomsphere and the best place to live. The average salary here is higher than most of other regions of the country. When you compare, please do not just use individual cases. If you have ever take stats class you should know how important sample size is.

當然，我首先確認我是來自大陸的，至於繁體字的輸入問題，很好解決啦，因爲我用的是win2000server簡體中文版，内含微軟拼音2.0輸入法，它支持繁體的。:)
不曉得繁體版的win2000是否支持簡體呢，呵呵
至於你這邊連接大陸的網速問題，我想和ISP有很大關聯，我家里使用的ADSL隸屬於上海電信，它直接走中美光纜，所以比較快 ^_^
