aspi error

hi

when using xing audiocatalyst to convert CD to MP3,<br>it says aspi error and can't be fixed by the updated aspi32.exe.<br>and when using mscd mode, it says the digital signal can't be read.<br>how to use it?<br>my config: sony 8x spdif---->SB live V 4670<br> win98 SE chinese big5
