Since I'm a lazy bastard, here's the email Dan sent:
I was wandering round my Messiah directory and I found a file named A3DAPI.DLL. As<br>anyone knows this IS A3D. Well I right clicked on it and the version said "Version: 3.0<br>Beta Build 428". Looks like Shiny let one slip there. Anyway I copied it to my<br>windows\system direcotry and games like Quake 3 are better sounding and faster.
Obviously this will only work for those with a Vortex 2 sound card, but if you've got one, give it a<br>whirl!
