the possible reason of the noise u mentined when the speakers are off is what we call "statics problem", which means when u use some other electronic appliances and even just turn on a light in the same room, it will affect the speakers and make such annoying noise. i have been troubled by such problem myself for a while until i found the solution--unplug it (speakers), when u are not using it and it won't never awake u when u are in the middle of deep sleep!!!

ㄜ...我寫信去問Boston為什麼找不到MicroMedia <br> 他給我的回應如下：
The MicroMedia are no longer being produced. Several CompUSA stores should still stock and we have a few around. The new model will hit the streets in 2-3 weeks with marked improvements in sound quality.
