我目前用的是2013的版本..
2004 2005 2008 2013都沒有0x8878000a的問題..
2019跟2020都會有0x8878000a的問題..
其他的版本我沒有找到..
另外版本更新的異處..
我從2005 2008兩個版本驅動程式裡面的REL_E.PDF有看到..
但是也只有這兩個版本裡面有註明修正的文件..
2005:
4. Difference from the Last Release (ver. 4.06.2004)
(1) Fixed the problem regarding the digital/analog output setting when using the digital
docking function.
(2) Fixed the problem regarding the customization of minimun/maximum volume.
(3) Possible to set the AC97 PCM Out Volume with the value specified in the INF file.
(PCMVolDef : Primary, PCMVolDef2 : Secondary)
(4) Added a registry option (LoadLegacy = 5) to support the Legacy without MPU401.
Especially when a motherboard uses Super I/O device for the Joystick and MPU401
function, this option should be used.
(5) Cut8BitNoise option will be ignored on Windows98SE because it has fixed the problem by
itself.
(6) Fixed the problem that the system rebooted suddenly when switching between 2ch mode
and 4ch mode frequently.
(7) Fixed the problem that after rebooting the system with the output mode set to 2ch mode
there was no sound from the rear speakers even if the output mode was switched to 4ch
mode.
(8) “Special 4ch” switch will be grayed out when in 2ch mode.
(9) ADC output will be muted in PowerSave Level 1.
(10) Fixed the problem that there was noise from the rear speakers when sending AC3
stream from SPDIF Out.
2008:
4. Difference from the Last Release (ver. 4.06.2006)
(1) Supports 11 languages. (English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish,
Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Swedish)
(2) Improved the algorithm for the HW Volume function.
(3) When using STAC9708, rear out will be muted correctly to avoid the switching
noise in changing the power management level.
(4) When using STAC9708, the phase of the rear out can be inverted by driver
customization. (AC97SurroundInvert)
(5) Improved the algorithm for the Fader function.
(6) Improved the algorithm for the Dolby Digital output from the SPDIF Out,
especially when switching between Docking and Undocking mode, and when
switching between 2ch and 4ch mode.
(7) Fixed the problem that the volume control on some specific application was not
synchronized with the Windows mixer.
(8) Removed “SpdifAC3” key from the customization option. “DolbyDigitalMode”
key can cover this function.
(9) Modified the function of “LoadSpdifIn” key. Only when “LoadSpdifIn” is set to
“03”, Digital In selection menu will be displayed.
(10) Fixed the problem that the system froze when switching between Docking
and Undocking mode or when switching between 2ch and 4ch mode, if MIDI
signal was being received from the external MIDI port.
不過說實在的..我看不太懂就是了..
