It seems like Philips Acoustic Edge is doing better with 686b, but will Philips be out of pc sound card bussiness in the future. Currently the audigy has the edge. I own MX300, and don't want this to happen again.

Does any one have compatibility problem on the new Creative Audigy sound card with VIA 686b south bridge??

In a recent GameSpot review on the Audigy, one of the "Cons" listed was: "Problems with motherboards with VIA chipsets[b12]
